St. Francis Kupuna Village

Maedo Architects' goal at St. Francis Health Care was to support their mission and translate into the built environment. Our team helped identify the types of services the village would provide and assess the feasibility of transforming the campus to integrate those services. In this manner, the existing hospital was converted to include skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living, outpatient services, adult day care, child day care, a senior center, and an overall go-to center for seniors and caregivers. Furthermore, the design supported new services and created new and improved access paths while maintaining the flow of the campus.
