Royale Health Care Center

Maedo Architects worked on the therapy addition for the Royale Health Care Center, now renamed the South Coast Post Acute, in Santa Ana. By implementing our design philosophy, our team was able to solve two major issues regarding an oversized dining room and an unutilized courtyard by relocating and expanding the therapy space and providing over 1,500 sf of rehab space with minimal dimensional impact to the existing operations. Furthermore, our designed raised the existing ceiling height to improve the dining experience within the preexisting limitations.
